Two Bears painting on sandstone
Bears don't show up much in European cave art. What there is, is sketchy, with the bear's figure left incomplete. Working with bear drawings from various caves, I've come up with my own composition.
Pigment is blown and hand painted on to the stone, and the white lines are scraped into the surface.Airbrush and sgraffito on gold sandstone.

About the stone...
This stone is a very weathered California gold sandstone.It is a stippled texture of gold and bronze with a mineral dark grey layer along the bottom half.
