Cougnac Ibex stone magnet

Although this image comes from the French cave of Cougnac, I like how it resonates with images from the U.S. Southwest.
Red oxide paint is blown and hand painted onto the stone, then I carve in to the surface to create light lines and texture, recreating in miniature the art techniques of the first artists. The paint is earth pigment water-based, and light-fast. With care, this stone painting will last as long as the original cave art!
This stone comes with 4 ceramic magnets on the back.
