This is a sampling of the designs I paint. Some are re-creating actual paintings from Lascaux, Altamira and other European cave sites as they might have looked freshly painted thousands of years ago. Others are my own designs following the styles of paleolithic art. The same pigments are used; yellow ochre, red oxide, burnt umber and black manganese, but the stone and hand painting make each different. Each stone has picture wire securely cemented on the back for easy hanging. Each image has more description.
Designs turn over fairly quickly. You can email me to check if I have a particular stone still on hand, or I can email you images of a design in the type of stone you like. If I don't have a design in stock it can take two weeks for me to create new ones. On occasion, stone isn't available, or in an interesting enough color, at the stone yard.
